The exhibition celebrated Manchester's rich musical heritage, with eleven contemporary jewellers creating pieces inspired by the city's iconic music scene.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe 'Sometimes Necklace' takes its inspiration from the Manchester band James and their song 'Sometimes', particularly the lyric “takes my head, puts my ear to his and I swear I can hear the sea.”\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHandcrafted in sterling silver, the necklace features layered, textured silver forms that echo the movement of soundwaves and the rolling waves of the sea.
